Welcome to the KojiroMC Patreon Server! Remember this is a multiplayer server that is always growing so please be friendly and polite and help us keep the server running smoothly in every way.
By logging in you agree to abide by all the rules, and fully accept the consequences of breaking them. Warnings will be given whenever possible, but we cannot provide compensation, either monetary or in-game, if rules are broken and server access is restricted as a result.
To join this server, you must be a Patreon subscriber, and be a member of KojiroMC’s Discord Server. You must include your Minecraft IGN in your Discord nickname to make it easier for you to be contacted by the Mod team.
Rule #1 - Don’t be a jerk! This includes:
-
No arguing with mods, and do not ignore them. If a mod asks you to do something, please do it immediately.
-
No racist, hateful or bullying comments. Be respectful to others and yourself.
-
No destructive griefing, theft, harassment, cheating, or item duplication (Instant Perma Ban). This ruins the game for other players. (TNT entity duplication is allowed)
-
No Pranking or PvP without the other party’s consent. Be willing to undo any prank as soon as requested.
-
Keep all communications clean and family friendly for both server and discord chat/vc. Cursing In Game, discord or VC is strictly forbidden (If Kojiro does not say it openly, then you don’t either. Don’t assume it is okay because it is normal for you or the area you live in).
-
Please use only English.
-
There will be no use of using in-game chat to respond to individuals streaming - this is confusing for other server members. Talking in your friends stream chat actually helps their analytics and tells twitch that MORE people might wanna see what's going on. Stream chat is for stream conversations, in-game chat is for in-game conversations.
Rule #2 - Respect other Patron’s personal builds, bases, possessions, etc.
-
Do not explore other patron’s personal builds, bases or chests without their permission.
-
Fix any damage caused in the world or to other people's builds including creeper holes. If unable to fix immediately or if damage is caused to another patron’s building, leave a sign and contact the owner or a mod to let them know what happened.
-
Do not tear down, change or modify any build that is not your own or that you do not have permission to do so. Contact the original builder first or a mod if the original builder is unavailable to help resolve any issues.
-
Building a public farm does not give you ownership rights; however, we will try to defer to the builder first. It belongs to the community and can be modified or changed as needed with mod approval.
Rule #3 - Take responsibility for yourself
-
As the owner of your Minecraft account YOU are responsible for any and all actions that occur through your account. If your account is hacked, please inform a mod immediately so we can block any unauthorized access to the server.
-
Your items are your own responsibility. If you need help recovering lost items or fixing things, you can message the other Patreons in the discord chat to see if they can help. The mods are available to fix anything broken by the mods or Kojiro, and to deal with server issues, but cannot replace or reconstruct anything lost in normal gameplay. Use the ModMail channel if you need to contact them.
Consequences for behaviour:
1st Offense – Verbal warning
2nd Offense – 3 Day suspension
3rd Offense – 2 Week suspension
4th Offense – Removal and Ban from server
Rule #4 - Keep the server running smoothly
Personal claims
-
Individuals are free to claim land in the Overworld for personal builds as long as it is not already claimed space. Claims in the nether and End require specific mod permission. Once you have found an area you want to claim, post the coords in #patreon-coords, so others are aware of your claim.
-
To manage lag we ask that there is an absolute limit of 3000 Chests and 2500 Hoppers per player - please don’t use this many if at all possible. Shulkers in chests are highly recommended, as well as lava or flint & steel to dispose of items that are over abundant.
-
Be mindful of lag when thinking about villagers, animals, or other entities within your base. If you accumulate large numbers of these and it causes lag, we may ask you to downsize.
Farms and managing lag
-
We welcome all types of players on this server, from builders to adventurers to redstone aficionados. When it comes to large projects that could cause lag on the server, we ask that:
1) These are built in the Industrial District if possible, and
2) These are free to be used by any member of the community
In practice, this means the following farms are suitable for personal areas:
- Creeper Farms
- Spider Farms
- Slime Farms
- Auto General Mob farms
- Bee Farms (32 Hives Max)
Please ask permission if you wish for these farms to be more than 5 tiers or to extend over more than 1x1 chunk
-
Auto Sugarcane
-
Auto Bamboo
-
Auto Pumpkin
-
Auto Melon
(Please ask permission if you want more than 128 blocks planted)
-
If a farm is creating excessive lag, we may need you to downsize or adjust your design
-
Use server-friendly redstone and entity management practices. Where possible:
-
Use as few hoppers as reasonably possible.
-
Use waterways to reduce hoppers
-
Place composters over hoppers
-
Include On/Off switches
-
Add overflow Protection
-
Have efficient collection for farm output
-
Spread storage systems out across multiple chunks (F3+G).
-
Don’t bunch-up chest or hoppers, spread them out among multiple chunks.
Building community farms
If you wish to build a community farm, first post in discord under #server-ask-a-mod to make sure no one else has already begun work. The following farms will be community projects:
-
Auto Raid/Pillager Farm
-
Guardian Farm
-
Gold Farm
-
Wither Skeleton Farm
-
Shulker Farms
-
Villager trading hall
-
The same lag-reducing principles apply to community farms as to personal farms.
-
If using a Shulker Loader, include a way to get items without shulkers as well.
-
Community farms must be spawn proof and have a safe AFK area.
Breaking these rules will result in a warning, and a request to remove the build or items concerned. Ignoring this may result in your claim being rescinded, or your farm being removed. If you continue to ignore Mod directions, then the consequences for behavior will apply.
For the health of the community and the server, the Mod team reserves the right to make judgement-call based decisions for any situation not clarified or covered by these rules.
